I've been getting whacked by the synchronicity stick with some regularity over the past year or so - and you're right - it's hard to explain what makes it more than a mere coincidence, but a big part of it is how it feels in the moment, and what led up to it. It seems to have a lot to do with what's on our minds, which makes me wonder if there's not some kind of telepathy or other psychic phenomenon involved - not that I believe in such things, of course. ;) Anyway, I have two of my synchroxperiences written up online, if you're interested. In a totally awesome way, however. I've been holding off on reading Bret Easton Ellis until I can get my hands on American Psycho, unless there's a better one to start with.
