I think you did the right thing. I keep trying to convince The Boy that sometimes people NEED to be yelled at (or have their shit soaked). He would probably normally agree except I try to make this argument when I’m yelling at HIM.

You really need to get a personal entertainment device with headphones, fella. I hear the Apple Computing Company makes one. I take the loser cruiser twice a day (the S2, to be specific) and I can’t tell you how many assholes there are. Literally. Cause i’ve never heard anything that any of them have ever said.

Smelled them, that’s for damn sure, but never heard them.

I don’t like to listen to music when I read. And I don’t buy things from Apple. No cults for me.

Well I have to say that I could have used someone like you this past weekend! I went to a (great) family dinner, where this was this one (non-family) person who was loud and obnoxious and spoke just to hear himself speak. He just HAD to be the center of attention for three hours at this dinner.

Someone like you could have come in handy!

I’d be happy to dump sprite on him.

i was at that chipotle a few months ago, and headed over to the restroom before i left. it was locked – not unusual – and a guy said he was waiting for his girlfriend. ok.

like five minutes go by. five minutes in real life? not long. five minutes when you’re waiting for a bathroom? epic. the boyfriend knocks on the door and says something in spanish.

another five minutes. nothing. he bangs on the door again.

i’m starting to think wtf, is she having a baby in there or what? writing a dissertation? the hell? but it’s murphy’s law that two seconds after i left she’d come out, so i stayed. two or three minutes later, she strolls out, looks at me totally unperturbed, and they leave.

perhaps that chipotle is some kind of magnet for inconsiderate people?

Perhaps they should work that in to an add campaign?

Two wrongs don’t make a right, but sometimes they do make a feels-effing-awesome. I’d have liked to see how they reacted to the tirade, though.

IT was strictly and either or situation…either the tirade or the sprite.
