I Now Pronounce You

I’m a 34 yo DC professional…I used to be a professional skirt chaser with no desire to do more than watch the Yankees, play my guitar, stay out late drinking with my friends watching baseball and cursing the Red Sox. Then I fell in love with a woman I met on Craigs List (for real) and couldn’t figure out exactly what the point of all that nonsense was…I mean, there’s more to life than hangovers and late morning introductions in bed, right?

So, I got engaged. I was proud of myself. Calmed my life down. Found new direction…and started a blog about it. My thinking was that I’d share it with my fiance once she became my wife.

Then she left me.

Now it’s a back and forth between old habits and new choices.

    I, too, read all the DC blogs (roosh, virgle, kassyk, kathryn, etc.), and I’m glad you decided to write one of your own. Personally, it’s an incredibly interesting topic because I can identify with and understand where you’re coming from. This blog is a much needed new voice to the community. You give me hope, man.
